Zhang Zhixian, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, leads team to visit Qinzhou City

On the 3rd, Zhang Zhixian, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore and Coordinating Minister for National Security, led a delegation to Qinzhou for the visit of relevant situations about the China-Singapore Interconnection Southbound Channel. Zhang Zhixian said that he was very pleased that the Chinese government and the Singapore government, especially the western provinces of China, have attached great importance to actively promoting the implementation of the southbound channel and made good progress. He looked forward to introducing effective measures with Coordinating Council to promote the efficient development of the southbound channel construction in the future. The construction of the southbound channel is a brand-new project. He believed that with the strong supports of the governments of the two countries and relevant provinces and cities, the two sides will bring more passion, energy and creativity to make the channel construction more successful.

The visit of the Singapore delegation to Qinzhou will be a powerful boost to the economic and social development of Qinzhou, especially the construction of the southbound channel.
