Land reclamation project in Pubei County started with total investment of 12.8684 million yuan

Recently, the land reclamation project of 4 villages in Beitong Town, Pubei County, Qinzhou City was started. This project was approved by the Department of Land and Resources of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2016, involving Naliang Village, Shegen Village, Lantian Village and Nantong Village in Beitong Town. The total project budget is 12.8684 million yuan and the implementation scale is 807.32 hectares. The project focuses on the construction of basic farmland with high standard, and takes the canal anti-seepage transformation as its main. The improvement of field road level is mainly based on reconstruction and new construction, and the production and living conditions of villagers should be improved. Through the land leveling project, the cultivated land was newly added to 3.71 hectares, and the ploughing land area was 55.69 mu. Through the drought-to-water project, and the reconstruction and new construction of the canal system, the irrigated area is expected to increase by 108.09 hectares and is improved 154.63 hectares.
